This offseason will be deemed a failure if they can’t find a massive return for Irving–and the Thomas swap surely qualifies as such–because addressing their main difficulty (defense) was not exactly done together with the improvements of Derrick Rose, Jose Calderon and Jeff Green. However they can score with aplomb, which should make them heavy favorites.
