Orlando Magic

Vegas Over/Under: 33.5

The Record Projection: 31-51 of fromal The Bet: Beneath with marginal confidence Throughout the 2016-17 effort, the Orlando Magic made 32.8 percent of the three-point attempts, which left them ahead of just the Oklahoma City Thunder (32.7 percent). In addition they took just 26.1 treys per contest, once again finishing at the league’s lowest half (No. 16).
These amounts aren’t conducive to success in the NBA, which places more and more of an emphasis on shooting beyond the rainbow every year.
Obviously, the Magic addressed their most glaring flaw by incorporating the gamers, most of whom fought in 2016-17 from downtown:
Marreese Speights: 37.2 percent on 3.4 efforts per game for the Los Angeles Clippers
Jonathan Isaac: 34.8 percent on 2.8 efforts per game for your Florida State Seminoles (with a shorter arc)
Shelvin Mack: 30.8 percent on 2.2 attempts per game for your Utah Jazz
Jonathon Simmons: 29.4 percentage on 1.3 attempts per game for the San Antonio Spurs
Adreian Payne: 20.0 percent on 0.8 efforts per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves
Speights’ presence may help, however, the enduring frontcourt logjam of the team could make it tough for him to earn many minutes.
So why are we supposed to think the Magic hit on the over and will win more games this year?
