Building No. 2 was put into operation in November 2004.

Approximately 200 teachers carry out educational, methodical, scientific and creative work at 18 departments of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Including 25 professors, 13 doctors of sciences, 57 associate professors and candidates of sciences. 22 have honorary titles of People’s Artist, Honored Artist, Honored Artist and Architect of Ukraine, 4 are members of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine and the Academy of Architecture and Construction of Ukraine.

Almost half of the teachers are members of the National Unions of Artists, Architects and the Union of Designers of Ukraine.

The educational process at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts is provided by 18 laboratories and training workshops, 4 computer classes, a library (over 136,000 units of literature storage), a museum, a research sector, the Academy Academy, a student scientific and creative society, and a student theater. “Publicist” student fashion theater, dormitory.

General information

There are three departments at the UIPA Faculty of Electrical Engineering:

general scientific disciplines, socio-economic disciplines, electromechanical systems.

The educational process at the faculty takes place in two buildings: building No. 1, (9a Nosakova Street) and premises of building 2 (Artema Street 5).

Building No. 2 was put into operation in November 2004. This five-storey building includes training laboratories, offices, a library and a reading room, a conference hall, a sports hall, and workshops. Computer laboratories are equipped with a modern PC, integrated into local networks with Internet access.

The faculty has a dormitory for non-resident students.

Today the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is:

state higher educational institution of the 4th level of accreditation; 3 departments (general scientific disciplines, socio-economic disciplines, electromechanical systems); 2 training and laboratory buildings; 7 full-time specialties; 9 specialties of correspondence form of education; 49 teachers, including 5 professors and doctors of sciences; 4 consultation points (Slavyansk, Stary Krym, Svetlodarsk, Popasnaya, Soledar); 15 laboratories equipped with modern equipment; 3 computer rooms; UIPA football team, which took III place in the regional championship; bullet shooting team, which took first place in city competitions; KVN team “Course to the East” took first place in the Bakhmut League. Today Donbass State Machine-Building Academy (DGMA) is a state higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, which includes Kramatorsk Machine-Building College and Druzhkovsky Machine-Building Technical School.

Donbass State Engineering Academy provides ample opportunities for higher education to citizens of Ukraine and foreigners.

Donbass State Machine-Building Academy trains specialists in machine-building, metallurgical and economic profile; has full-time and part-time departments, the department of pre-university training and postgraduate education.

Training of students in 18 specialties is carried out at 6 faculties (automation of mechanical engineering, engineering and economic, engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering, economic and humanitarian, correspondence) in 8 directions on three-stage system (bachelor – specialist – master). Students can additionally master the specializations “Jurisprudence”, “Referent-translator” and “Journalism”.

The Donbass State Mechanical Engineering Academy has created conditions for effective scientific work. There is a program of work with gifted youth. There are postgraduate studies, doctoral studies, and a council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations in the specialty “Processes and machines for pressure treatment.”

Donbass State Engineering Academy also maintains scientific ties with many scientific centers in the country and abroad, in the United States, China, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Taiwan and others.
